Dr. Michael Hyland has been a physical therapist since 2012 and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences at the St. Augustine, FL campus. The school was founded by Dr. Stanley V. Paris, PT, PhD and has a strong foundation of manual physical therapy. Dr. Hyland has practiced in multiple settings including hospital acute care, outpatient, and home health and established Hyland Physical Therapy and Wellness, LLC in Broken Arrow, OK in 2018.

Dr. Hyland has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since being a first-year PT student in 2009 and continues to be a member, having served as past second vice president of the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA). He is a member of the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy (AGPT), a specialty section of the APTA. In 2016, Dr. Hyland became a Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult through the AGPT, setting him apart as a true specialist in exercise prescription for this ever-growing population. Recently in 2022, Dr. Hyland earned the title of Certified Fall Prevention Specialist.

Dr. Hyland has a passion for helping person's with Parkinson's Disease (PWP) and  has been helping PWP through the LSVT BIG program since 2013. He is committed to helping aging adults to learn what they are capable of and that they have the power to control the ability to age successfully, to live the active and full lifestyles that they desire, and to be able to improve their pain or other limitations. This is especially true of those 65 and better, who often are told by society that they are "getting old" and should expect to hurt, or to become dependent, or that falls are a "natural" part of aging. These are the people that Dr. Hyland especially wants to empower with the knowledge and the tools to use for a bright future.

Dr. Hyland has a wonderful wife, Dr. Julie Hyland, AuD, CCC-A, and five children. He enjoys spending time with family, caring for his home, playing piano and composing music, and is a licensed airplane pilot. He is an active member of St. Anne Catholic parish in Broken Arrow, OK.

Other team member pictures coming soon!!

Sherrayle Green - Client Experience Manager

Sherrayle has a variety of experiences working in customer service, most recently for Enhabit (formerly Encompass) Home Health and Hospice. We are blessed to have her, as her smile and warm demeanor are felt over the phone by our clients. She is working hard to finish a Masters in Social Work and we are proud to have her on our team, even if it is only part-time.

Fran MacArthur, PT - Associate Physical Therapist

Fran has lived in OK  her entire life and has been a Physical Therapist for over 40 years. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, most recently in outpatient orthopedics and pediatrics. She has been with the Hyland PTW family since earlier in 2022 and she is well loved by her clients and is a great asset to our practice. While she is not yet certified to treat through the LSVT program this is a goal before end of the year 2022. She is trained in Urban Polling for treating PD and other movement disorders. She is highly skilled in manual therapy, specifically fascial counterstrain, and enjoys treating chronic pain and other musculoskeletal conditions in addition to being a tremendous asset to our clients with balance and strength issues who are fallers. We hope she is around for a long time!

Coeise Scott, CCC-SLP - Associate Speech Language Pathologist

Coeise is a graduate of the OSU Speech Therapy Master's program and has spent a majority of her career treating children in the public school system as well as in Home Health. She is LSVT LOUD certified and loves to help folks with PD to be heard and understood better. She also enjoys treating clients with cognitive deficits, such as dementia. She sadly is only able to help on a limited basis due to working in the school system, but we are lucky to have her and her patients love her.
